A couple of weeks ago Blizzard banned over five thousand Starcraft II players who were cheating in the multiplayer part of the game. Well banning is not enough, Blizzard is going to do the next best thing and is going to sue them for copyright infringement. I can certainly see Blizzard trying to show people who tries to tamper with their games why that is not such a hot idea, but that seems a bit much. So far only three people are being dragged to the Los Angeles US District Court. I think its interesting to point out that all three men do not live in the United States, so I wonder how’s that going to work, maybe they’ll host a raid in World of Warcraft for the hearing.
