I want to play Diablo III, I want to play it almost as bad as I want to play Bioshock Infinite. In a blog post Jay Wilson (Game director for Diablo III) revealed that the game would be receiving some major changes in development and that we should be expecting a delay.
“While working on Diablo III we’ve been called out for messing around with systems too much, that the game is good as-is and we should just release it. I think that’s a fair argument to make, but I also think it’s incorrect. Our job isn’t just to put out a game, it’s to release the next Diablo game.”
Here are some of the changes Wilson is talking about is removing item identification scrolls from the game, character attributes, and many other UI changes. Its a shame that such a highly anticipated game will potentially get delayed but like Jay Wilson said
“No one will remember if the game is late, only if it’s great.”
