Destructoid is reporting that Valve has just announced that if you buy the PS3 version of Portal 2, you will also receive the PC/Mac version of the game for free. Let’s hope this doesn’t mean the PS3 version is going to suck.
If you followed Sony’s E3 press conference last year, you may recall that Gabe Newell said that the PS3 version of Portal 2 would be the best version out of all 4. Well up until now we didn’t now what he meant by that statement, now we know. The game is scheduled to be released in April, that is if doesn’t get pushed back any further.
(UPDATE:) I forgot to mention that the PS3 version will also have cross platform support, meaning you be able to play with people on the PC/Mac version of Portal 2.
