If your on the fence about whether or not you should get the new Xbox 360 with glossy finish, you better act fast. Major Nelson announced today that Microsoft will no longer ship the Xbox 360s with glossy, and instead will have the dull and boring matte finish. Special edition versions (like the Gears of War one) will still have glossy finish, but other than that matte is the only one your going to see. On top of that Microsoft will destroy all current glossy consoles, burn/delete all the pictures, and pretend the console always came with matte finish…ok this part is not real.
