Client: Activision Blizzard
With dozens of hours of interviews to sync and watch on a tight deadline, this project was truly challenging. Whenever you work on a project of this magnitude there’s always a lot of approvals you need to get from different people. In this case not only did we have a lot of people we needed to get their approval, but we also had three different companies.
Activision, Blizzard, and King all needed to give their okay on the video in order for us to submit it. So needless to say I was under a lot of pressure, but luckily my time working at The Record Man taught me how to properly deal with these situations. Overall the key was to tell a narrative that reflected the three companies while balancing how much we show of each of them.
Luckily the people chosen to be interviewed were amazing on camera and their passion truly reflected how they felt about the company they worked for. Once the narrative portion of the video was done, I had to do a lot of research for B-Roll. I was fortunate enough that my producers gave me a lot of support and assisted me with this task.
Overall, I am very pleased with the end product. I consider this to be the second hardest project I ever worked on but it was definitely worth all the hard work.
