It may not be as large in scope as Skyrim, or as beautiful as Skyward Sword but this game has more entertainment value in its 10 hours of gameplay than any other game in this list has. There are number of reasons why this game is so great all of which I will explain right now.

First is that amazing sense of accomplishment you get when you solve that incredibly difficult puzzle that just took you a long time to figure out. And if you can’t solve the puzzle, don’t think that turning off the game will stop you from thinking about it. This game is so good that it penetrates your inner consciousness and won’t let you concentrate on anything until you solve the testing chamber your stuck in.

Second is the co-op multiplayer which is by far one of the best and most original I have ever played  EVER.  Trying to crack test chambers by yourself is a challenging task but having a friend to do it with is even more difficult due to Valve’s incredible puzzle design that gives Skyward Sword a run for it’s money.

Third the phenomenal script that is not only immaculate but also absolutely hysterical. Portal 2′s humor is one that anybody can enjoy without the need of swearing or pop culture references. Few forms of entertainment these days can pull something like this off, and Portal 2 did it flawlessly.

Like I said before Portal 2 may not be the longest game in this list, as a matter of fact it’s the shortest. But every second of the 10 hours (or 5 if you only play single player) in this game is absolutely entertaining and mesmerizing, it’s the perfect example of quality over quantity. Valve’s Portal 2 wins our award for Best Puzzle Game, Best Multiplayer, and the Rewind Replay Award for the Best Game of 2011.
