With another year upon us, we get another year full of great quality software. Last year we got an incredible amount of AAA titles and beating a year that we got a Zelda, Uncharted, and Elder Scrolls game is no easy task. Still there is a plethora of great titles coming out this year that we can’t wait to play, and keep in mind these are the titles we know are coming out in 2012, we still haven’t seen what’s in stock at E3.

10. Last Guardian
Our most anticipated game of 2011 barely made the cut this year, after an annoying amount of delays and the news of Fumito Ueda leaving the company, Last Guardian plummeted on our excitement radars and has certainly did little to remedy the situation. We still have high hopes for this title that we hope to get a chance to play at some point this year. With promises of epic battles like Shadow of The Colossus and emotional gameplay like ICO, Last Guardian still have a lot of promise in this unlikely title.
9. Devil May cry
Dante's revival to the world of video games stirred quite some hate from fans, but the more we see from this game, the more anxious we get to get our hands on it. The core gameplay mechanic seems to be the same, and Dante still has insane moves and that's what gets us excited with every new trailer. With beautiful visual that complements every fight, we don't care if Dante's hair is black, blue, red or yellow, all we care about is playing the game.
8. Grand Theft Auto V
It's not every year that we get a Grand Theft Auto game, which makes this title all the more exciting whenever we think about playing it. A new GTA is always something to get excited about, we would have placed this game much higher on the list, but our uncertainty that the game will be released this year keeps us from getting too hyped up on this one.So far we only saw one trailer for the game and it was enough to place itself has our 8th most anticipated game of 2012.
7. Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance
By now you can probably tell we are suckers for action games, and Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance promises to bring us just that. Aside from having an incredibly long name, Revengeance seems to cater to those who seek over the top action, and seizure inducing combat (AKA our staff). At the 2011 VGAs we got a bit skeptical about this title, but with the minds behind Bayonetta and Vanquish taking care of the game, this is going to be one of the most over the top game of 2012.
6. Max Payne 3
A game that has Rockstar's stamp all over it, the little tha we seen from Max Payne 3 is enough to get us super excited for this game. What makes this title stand out is what we come to love from Rockstar Game's; high action gameplay, deep story lines and level of quality that shows the pedigree of the company working on it.When Rockstar releases a game is like seeing an accident on the road, you can't help but look at it and wonder.
5. Diablo 3
Whenever Blizzard releases a game we always get exited, when Blizzard releases a game that is not World of Warcraft related we get even more excited. Diablo III continues one of the most addictive PC games of all times. The amount of depth is bigger than ever, the gameplay remains the same one which we fell in love with, and we just can't wait to spend hundreds of hours adventuring with friends and getting greedy with our loot.Hopes are high for this game, and knowing the company that is making this title, you can't really blame us.
4. Borderlands 2
This highly anticipated sequel to one of the biggest surprises of 2009 has us licking our lips in anticipation for what is to come. Much like Diablo III, Borderlands 2 has us excited for that cooperative gameplay and loot hunting that we don't see in too many games these days.If you haven't played Borderlands yet, there's still time to catch up to what we like to call "Diablo with Guns," before the sequel comes out sometime in the fall.
3. Mass Effect 3
Another one of those titles that we were highly anticipating in 2011 did not make it to store shelves last year. But regardless of its release date we are still dying to get our hands on this one. What makes us hyped for this game is the promise of having our decisions from Mass Effect 2 carry over to Mass Effect 3, giving us more of what we love from the series; branching story lines and choices.Commander Sheppard's trilogy comes to an end on March 6, and we are counting down the seconds for this highly anticipated sequel to one of the best games of 2010.
2. Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning
We have been neglecting this game for some time, but we are definitely doing our best to remedy this issue. With its huge world and tons of choices, Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning has the potential to be this year's Witcher 2 or even Skyrim, and that a statement to reckon with. Our most anticipated RPG of 2012, Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning is right around the corner and one game that you definitely don't want to skip this year.
1. Bioshock Infinite
After mopping the floor with awards at E3 2011, Bioshock Infinite is indisputably the most anticipated game of 2012. Irrational game is literally taking this game above and beyond with epic fights, emotionally attaching characters, and a story that just begs for attention. The atmosphere and art style promises to outdo Bioshock's underwater utopia, and voice acting already sounds superb. It's hard to think of any other game that we know is coming out this year that deserves this award more than Bioshock Infinite. It's the game we were anticipating for two years since its announcement, and it's the Rewind Replay.com Most Anticipated Game of 2012.
