Microsoft’s Mascot Major Nelson has just announced that subscription fees for Xbox live will be raised. The one month subscription will now cost $9.99 ($2 extra), three months is now $24.99 ($5 extra), and one year subscription is now $59.99 ($10 extra). The new prices will start in November, so I highly suggest you stock up now. Newegg and Amazon got a good deal going on right now. For $39.99 you can get an all year of Xbox live. No doubt Microsoft wants some more of that money, and considering the upcoming titles like Halo Reach and Call of Duty Black ops gamers will gladly fork over that money.
